COMPUTING TRAINING STOCKS
The essential elements of information and data sources required to compute authorized training
authorizations are as follows:
Weapons Density or Personnel Strength. Those authorized by TOE/TDA.
Training Event. Applicable Army Training and Evaluation Program (ARTEP).
Category of Unit. Temporary orders organizing a unit under a TOE/TDA.
Authorized Level of Organization (ALO). Temporary orders organizing a unit under a TOE/TDA.
Authorized Expenditure Rates. DA Pam 350-38.
Training Readiness Condition Levels. Temporary orders assigning levels.
Training readiness conditions (TRCs) are training readiness levels with prescribed standards and
training resources, i.e., resources required by units to attain and sustain standards. TRC assignments
are determined by HQDA on an annual basis. Factors considered in assigning TRCs include
deployment times, contingency missions, POMCUS fill and home station location. TRCs are used to
establish funding levels when budgetary restraints preclude all units from being resourced at the same
level. In general, Active Component (AC) units are designated TRC A or TRC B while Reserve
Component
