administered by the Army Institute for Professional Development (IPD), US Army Training Support
Center (USATSC), US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC).
IPD is the Army's largest school and has an enrollment of over 340,000 students. Most students are in
the Active Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard. The remainder of the students are primarily
Federal civilian employees and members of other services.
Since you are responsible for keeping up with professional developments in your job, taking
subcourses is a good way of doing this.
