LO1:
Purge Aviator's Night Vision Imaging System AN/AVS-6 (V)1/2
TASK:
Purge Aviator's Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS) AN/AVS-6(V)1/2.
CONDITIONS:
Given ANVIS AN/AVS-6(V)1/2, TM 11-5855-263-23/40 extracts with all
changes, a predetermined site, and special tools and equipment listed in TM,
using DS/GS realistic tactical scenario narrations and discussions and with a
qualified supervisory OJT monitor's assistance.
STANDARDS:
Correctly purge the ANVIS AN/AVS-6(V)1/2, without error, within one out
of two attempts, IAW the technical manual, using DS/GS realistic tactical
scenario narrations, without causing damage to the equipment or injury to
personnel, within 15 minutes per attempt.
INSTRUCTIONS:
When you feel you are ready to perform the performance (hands-on-with-equipment) practice
exercise for this lesson, inform your SOJT monitor. You are reminded not to attempt to perform
the above task without the assistance of an assigned SOJT monitor.
