LESSON OBJECTIVES
When you have completed this lesson, you should:
1.
Know that current flow through a conductor always produces a magnetic field.
2.
Understand how Ohm's law expresses the relationship of voltage, current, and
resistance.
3.
Know that the reactance of inductors and capacitors changes as frequency
changes, but resistance remains stable.
4.
Know that impedance is the total opposition to current flow in an ac circuit.
5. Know the effects of series- and parallel-tuned circuits when not resonant and
at resonance.
