The buffer-doubler tank circuit (C32-L7) is tuned to the second harmonic of the
oscillator frequency.
This frequency, which is twice the oscillator frequency,
becomes the input signal to the intermediate power amplifier (IPA) With the IPA
tank circuit tuned to the second harmonic of the input frequency the output from
the IPA will be the fourth harmonic of the oscillator frequency.
