The V-shaped chute eliminates some handling and carrying of boxed ammunition. It is easy to build. It
can be constructed from dunnage planks. It may be waxed or greased to facilitate the movement of
boxes. The U-shaped chute is similar, but is requires more material for construction. The U-shaped
chute is safer to use, but the width of the chute limits the size of boxes it can handle.
