CONTROLS AND INDICATORS

General. The LDF is equipped with a control panel containing switches and indicators for
electrical and electronic control, and other miscellaneous levers and switches which allow the operator
to load and release paper, set carriage margins, and lock the carriage for transportation.
2.
Function of Controls and Indicators. The controls and indicators for the LDF are illustrated in
Figure 6 and described in Table 2. Figure index numbers are listed in the first column of the table. The
control/indicator column contains the name of the control or indicator; displayed nomenclature is
provided in capital letters. The function/operation column contains a functional description of the
illustrated control, indicator, or connector.
