PERFORMANCE (HANDS-ON WITH EQUIPMENT)
L02:
AN/UXC-7 Installation/Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS)
TASK:
Installation/PMCS.
CONDITIONS:
Given an AN/UXC-7, handtools, TM 11-5815-615-10, TM 11-
5815-615-23, vehicle mounting adapter, selected vehicle,
interconnecting cables appropriate for mode/type of operation as
described in Table 3, interface equipment appropriate for
mode/type of operation described in Table 4, a predetermined site,
using realistic tactical scenario narrations and discussions, and
monitored by a qualified OJT supervisor.
STANDARDS:
Correctly install the AN/UXC-7 at a fixed site and in a vehicle,
performing interconnection procedures for one of the options listed
in TM 11-5815-615-10, paragraph 2-5, within 20 minutes per
installation IAW TM 11-5815-615-10. Perform PMCS within 20
minutes IAW TM 11-5815-615-10 and TM 11-5815-615-23, and
perform installation procedures for Mode A or Mode B self-test
operation within 20 minutes IAW TM 11-5815-615-10.
Performance will be under a simulated test in a tactical scenario
environmental condition.

When you feel you are ready to perform the performance (hands-
on with equipment) practice exercise for this lesson, inform your
SOJT monitor. You are reminded not to attempt to perform the
above task without the assistance of an individual SOJT monitor.
