ADJUSTMENT OF PPI, IFF, AND PRECISION DISPLAY,
AND PPI DELAY CONTROL

control and the PPI display. Describe the procedures used to adjust
the identify friend or foe (IFF) display.

ADJUST THE PRECISION DISPLAY

Learning Event 1 will enable you to locate and identify
precision display adjustment controls, and components of the control
indicator group OA-2664/FPN-40 as well as interpret information
displayed on the cathode ray tube (CRT) of radar set AN/FPN-40.

Location and initial settings of components and controls are
given below.
a. Locate the control indicator group OA-2664/FPN-40 on radar set
AN/FPN-40 (Figure 3).
