You will be given Radar Set AN/FPN-40,
alignment
tool,
6-foot
nonconductive
stepladder,
Multimeter AN/USM-223 or equivalent, and Tangent
angles 0-1 and 0-2.
Performance Oriented: Given pencil and paper.
STANDARD:
Performance:
The standard is met when you align the
AN/FPN-40 azimuth cursor (for one runway), two out of
four times within the 45 minutes per alignment.
Performance Oriented: Correctly answer 75 percent of
the multiple-choice questions.
ACQUIRED SKILLS:
This lesson will enable you to perform the following actions:

Locate and identify AN/FPN-40 components.
b.
Align AN/FPN-40 azimuth cursor.
