f. Locate the following controls and test points on the navigational
computer chassis (see figure 6).

(1) ANGLE VOLTS ARTIFICIAL control
Used to control the position of
the stationary line produced by
the ART EL-OPERATE-ART AZ switch
(in ART EL or ART AZ positions)
so that a referenced position on
the precision display can be
adjusted and referred to as
required during the alignment of
the precision display.
(2) ART EL-OPERATE-ART
During alignments, the ART
AZ Switch S-401
AZ position produces a
stationary line on the azimuth
display and the ART EL position
produces a stationary line on
the elevation display. In
normal operation, place to
OPERATE.
(3) ANGLE VOLTS OUTPUT
Provided to allow voltage
Test Point TP-405
measurements to be taken for
alignment of the precision
display.
(4) AZ RUNWAY control
Used during cursor alignment
(Site 1, Site 2,
to adjust the azimuth
Site 3, Site 4)
cursor and place it along the
runway centerline on the
display.
(5) AZ L-R switch
Place to L position when
(Site 1, Site 2,
aligning cursors used for
Site 3, Site 4)
left-of-runway operation. Place
to R position when aligning
cursors used for right-of-runway

to control the angle
