team services 3 units at one stop (this stop is 3 weeks long) each unit has
100 items of assorted TMDE. Therefore allot each unit a 1-week time frame,
they must be notified of what day, in this case Monday, they are to submit
their TMDE and what day (Friday) they must pick it up.
Normally a unit will have certain items of TMDE they consider critical to
their mission.
The team will make every effort to do these items at a
priority basis.
Also, if they have several like items in this critical
category, they may be spaced out over the unit's time frame. They too have
a mission that must be performed.

(k) That the team will leave the area on schedule as there are
other stops and other units to be serviced.
This list is not all inclusive and may be modified by the local calibration
facility SOP. It is a guide as to some areas that should be discussed at
this time.
If the maintenance officer/NCO are not available, then this
discussion should be held with the commander.
These areas must be
understood between the team and the supported units.
(4) Team members should be assigned duties on a cross-training basis,
to insure adequate on-job-training (OJT) for team members and continuity of
knowledge of procedures. All work is prorated to insure maximum utilization
of standards and personnel efficiency. Team members should notify the team
chief when any technical problem arises. If the team chief cannot resolve
the problem, he should contact the company operations section for
assistance. Complete DA Form 2416 on each piece of equipment.
The forms
should be checked for accuracy at the end of each day. Any items that fail
calibration must have a DA Form 2417,rejected instrument tag, prepared on
them, including a brief description of the trouble. Copy 1 can be given to
the maintenance officer at the end of each day to keep him abreast of any
equipment problem. The team chief should always attempt to finish the unit
on time
