l. Environmental condition recording.
(1) Temperature and humidity.
(a) Interval. The environmental conditions of the laboratory will
be measured and recorded continuously. The record will be monitored for any
out-of-control periods and for any indication of drift in the environmental
control.
(b) Instrumentation.
Any instrument meeting the requirements
listed below meets the requirements of TB 750-117/TB 750-25. However, other
instruments, already installed or available locally, that are capable of
satisfactorily measuring and recording the environmental ranges may be used,
when approved by AMCC.
(c) Temperature. There will be a prime recorder of limited span
to record temperature authorized for each individual laboratory and
supplemental wide-range recorder of lesser accuracy to record temperatures
when the environment is out of control.
1. The prime recorder:
Span - 6C (10F) minimum.
Accuracy - 0.1C (€0.18F).
Chart - 1 day minimum, 7 days maximum.
2. The wide range supplemental recorder:
Range - 4 to 32 C (40 to 90 F) minimum.
Accuracy - €0.6 C (€1.0 F)
Chart - 7 days.
(d) Humidity.
Equipment
for
recording
humidity
will
meet
the
following requirements:
Range - 10% to 80% RH minimum.
Accuracy - € 5% RH.
Chart - 7 days.
NOTE:
The supplemental wide range recorder and the humidity recorder may
be a single instrument with two pens.
