and DS/GS maintenance on items of TMDE listed in TB 43-180-1 as requiring
"S" level calibration support.
(c) Provides GS maintenance on all secondary transfer standards,
and provides DS maintenance for those transfer standards listed in TB
43-180-1 as requiring "S" level support.
(d) Participates in quality assurance audit programs, Army volt
program and all other activities required to maintain accuracy of
measurement standards with traceability through the US Army Standards
Laboratory (USASL) to the National Bureau of Standards (NBS).
(e) The base TMDE support section provides calibration and repair
service to all units located in the immediate geographic area of the ACL and
provides backup support to the ATSTs.
(f) Shop stock necessary to perform repair of standards and TMDE-
GP will be maintained within the appropriate sections of the ACL
headquarters.
(5) DC and Low Frequency Section.
(a) Provides secondary reference level maintenance, calibration,
and repair support for all calibration standards and TMDE listed in TB
43-180-1 as requiring "S" level support in the parameters of measurements
designated as DC and low frequency technique.
(b) Performs
organizational
and
DS/GS
maintenance
on
all
calibration standards and accessories assigned to the section.
(c) Performs DS/GS maintenance on all other calibration standards
and TMDE designated in TB 43-180-1 as requiring "S" level support.
(6) Microwave and Physical Standards Section.
(a) Provides secondary reference level maintenance, calibration
and repair support for all calibration standards and TMDE listed in TB 43-
180-1 as requiring "S" level support in the parameters of measurement
designated as microwave and physical (including nucleonics).
