Since the rate of current decrease now becomes proportional to the
rate of decrease of E, the output voltage EL remains constant while
ER decreases at a rate equal to the rate of decrease of the applied
voltage.

remained constant is equal to 0.5 volt. ER is now equal to EL but
is opposite in polarity. The rate of current change is considered to
remain the same. After 61 usec, therefore, no current is flowing in
