SUPPORT FUNCTION
a. The doctrine which integrates supply and maintenance support for
groups of related materiel is implemented in the support of TMDE.
Under
this concept DARCOM has command and control of the total TMDE calibration
service and repair support for TMDE-GP (Figure 2-1). The level A and level
C calibration will be merged and referred to hereafter simply as
calibration. TMDE calibration and repair functions are combined and will be
done in mutual support of TMDE readiness.
b. Flexible organizations designed to support varying workloads have
been incorporated.
Implementation will normally be one CRSC per Corps
Support Command (COSCOM) and one in the COMMZ (Figure 2-2).
This must be
determined by analysis of theater and corps workloads of equipment to be
calibrated and repaired,
c. The organization plan for the CRSCs is flexible. The CRSC TOE can
be modified to satisfy the mission requirements according to the
