The CRSC design permits
the deletion of calibration or repair elements not specifically needed to
support the mission workload or ATSTs can be provided to augment existing
CRSCs as required.
A TMDE support battalion headquarters is designed to
provide command and control when two or more CRSCs are organized in a
theater of operation or when required to support an independent task force.
d. The support structure shown in figure 2-2 is designed to deploy
ATSTs from the CRSC and ACL to areas of high workload density to provide
close, one-stop calibration and repair service to supported units.
The
ATSTs will be attached to larger units for administrative needs.
These
teams will remain under the operational control of the CRCS for mission
support.
Mobile ATST of the CRSC will be used to support units not
supported by deployed ATST.
