(3) Option (01) Transmit to TAMIS (SAAS-4). When Option (01) is selected from the TAMIS
Main Menu, the screen displays the Transmit to TAMIS Menu. Select (01). The screen displays:

NOTE:
Before the TAMIS report may be transmitted to TAMIS, it must be converted to byte stream.
Operator selects "Make TAMIS Transmit Report" from the End of Day Menu. In addition to
converting their TAMIS report file to a byte stream format, the system assigns the next
sequential "INFI___File ID number". This file ID number is the one used to identify the next
file to be transmitted to TAMIS.
(a) Select Option 01 from the Transmit to TAMIS Menu to start the transmit process. The
computer displays "ENTER FILE NAME OR DONE". (NOTE: The file name entered here identifies
the next file to be transmitted to TAMIS.) Enter the next sequential "INFI___File ID number", and press
the [RETURN] key.
(b) When "TP ON" appears on the screen, press the [F7] key. The computer displays
"ENTER FILE NAME___". Enter the file name of the SAAS-4 File to be transmitted to TAMIS, and
press the [GO] key.
(c) The computer displays, "FILE TRANSMISSION IN PROGRESS". When transmission
of input is completed, the computer displays, "TRANSFER COMPLETED" and data completed
message "GPS 354". If the data completed message does not automatically appear on the screen, press
the [CODE] and [S] keys to get the completed message before going to the next step. The computer
automatically returns to the Transmit to TAMIS Menu screen.
(d) Select Option 2 on Transmit to TAMIS Menu screen to review the file. Ensure all data
elements are properly aligned. If data elements are not properly aligned, repeat the transmit procedure.
(e) When file transfer is completed, select Option (77) from the Transmit to TAMIS Menu in
order to return to the Main TAMIS Menu for additional transmission, or select Option (88) to exit the
SAAS-4 to TAMIS Interface process.
