e. Place SEARCH, PRECISION, HEIGHT FINDER switch (S4204) to PRECISION
(Figure 9).
NOTES:
When switching to the PRECISION mode, ensure that the azimuth
antenna is within 15 of the runway parallel line (RPL).
If you miss the 15 area (identified by a load humming from
the precision pawl solenoid), place S4204 back to the SEARCH
mode and wait for the azimuth antenna (AS-1079/FPN-40) to
approach the desired 15 area again before switching back to
PRECISION (Figure 15).

f. Place SCAN switch (S4201) to the OFF position (Figure 9).
g. Place the SCAN MOTOR circuit breaker (CB-4205) to the OFF position
(Figure 9).
