(12) Retract side panel with drive shaft wrench.
Stand on wrench
handle to force side panel into closer contact with hinged floor edge and
engage look plungers.
(13) Lock side panel with side panel rear lock wrench (figure 10).
(14) Engage end of lock handle (item 5, figure 10) with retaining
bracket and secure handle with chained pin (item 4, figure 10).
(15) Stow side panel lock wrench (figure 10) and drive shaft wrench on
inside of left rear door.
(16) Close both rear doors.
Place tail lift gate in travel position
(para 6) and secure ladders to it.
(17) Remove the four leveling jacks and Jack pads and stow them in the
jack storage box (figure 1).

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OPERATION.
a. Power source connection.
The vehicle will be grounded through a
commercial power grounding system when commercial power is utilized.
The
grounding rod and grounding conductor furnished with the generator used for
supplying power to the vehicle will be installed when generator power is
utilized. The grounding rod provided with the vehicle will be installed in
either case.
(1) Ground vehicle.
(a) Drive ground spike (figure 1) into ground adjacent to the rear
end of van left skid.
(b) Connect free end of ground cable to ground spike connector on
van left skid (figure 6).
(2) Connect power cable.
400 Hz convertor switch, power lift gate switch, and all 110 V circuit
breaker switches are in the OFF position.
(b) Remove the canvas boot from power cable reel, unlock reel, and
unreel cable.
(c) Connect male end of power cable to power source.
(d) Connect female end of power cable to cable entrance receptacle
(figure 1).
b. Ceiling lights and service receptacle.
