(e) Unit of Issue.
The unit of issue column lists the unit
package quantity of the unit of issue for the item.
If there are two
entries in this column, the numeric entry is the unit package quantity,
which is the lowest quantity packaged. The alphabetic entry is the unit of
issue and is a supply term used in connection with requirements for
requisitioning purposes (i.e., allowance quantity 2, unit of issue ea.
requisition should read 2 ea).
(f) Quantity per set.
The quantity per set column lists the
quantities supplied for the three categories of each set as follows:
Items which are listed as components of subsets and shown in this catalog
under "consisting of" will not show a quantity unless it differs from the
quantity shown by the subset. Items being replaced through attrition will
not have a quantity listed. The authorization will be Shown against the new
item. Total authorized quantity on hand can be of the old or the new or a
combination of both.
New items will only be supplied when the old are
uneconomically repairable.
(g) Expendability (Recoverability Codes).
Recoverability codes
