Once you have decided on a drawing, pay particular attention to any special notes on the
page. Special notes will explain deviations based on that particular stacking method.
(3) When both sections have completed their research, they should have one more meeting to
determine the sequence of events to be accomplished. Once this is done, the plan should be
sent to the Operations section for approval. When it is approved, the plan will be passed back to
the Stock Control section for implementation.
4. Once the plan is approved, it's time for implementation. Rewarehousing is usually accomplished at the
storage site's convenience. It should be accomplished prior to the arrival of inbound shipments, if
possible.
a. The Stock Control section will prepare the necessary documentation for rewarehousing the
ammunition. Stock Control will complete DA Form 3151-R (Ammunition Stores Slip) for each
ammunition item to be moved. An example of a DA Form 3151-R is shown in Figure 4, page 8.
Stock Control will also assemble master planographs for each storage facility involved. When all the
documentation is prepared it will be passed to the Storage section.
b. The Storage section will pass the documentation to the selected crews and ensure each crew has
sufficient equipment and personnel to accomplish the assigned task. Normal equipment and
personnel requirements will include:
