DETERMINE QUANTITY-DISTANCE CLASS
CONDITION:
Before a new shipment of ammunition is stored you must determine the quantity-
distance class for the ammunition items. You have a list of the ammunition and
TM 9-1300-206.
STANDARD:
Determine the quantity-distance class of each item with 100 percent accuracy.
PERFORMANCE
NOTE: References are paragraph 5-8 through-5-17, TM 9-1300-206.
MEASURES:
1. Determine quantity-distance hazard classification for each class.
2. Determine correct class for each item.
3. Depending on the amount of explosive, determine the distance required for
the following:
a. Inhabited building
b. Public traffic route
c. Intraline
d. Above ground magazine
5. Give the list to your supervisor.
