c. The preceding descriptions specified the who and where of the Army
calibration system.
The calibration policies cited the general areas of
responsibilities and this was followed by presenting the organizations which
serve to administer these policies. It was shown that the DARCOM now is in
command of all Army calibration and that AMCC and the major subordinate
commands serve to implement the policies of the DARCOM. This implementation
dictates the responsibilities of the calibration installations; thus, the
"how" of calibration is defined.
Listed in paragraph 4 are the specific
responsibilities.
4.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AMCC AND MAJOR SUBORDINATE COMMANDS.
(1) Maintains control and technical direction of the Army system for
certifying the accuracy of all TMDE used in support of Army materiel.
