(n) Apply certification labels or red tags as required.
Prepare
certificates or test reports on items processed.
(o) Insure that all test and measurement equipment calibrated with
a standard that is out of tolerance is recalibrated.
Insure that each
activity so affected is notified that the calibration was not valid.
(p) Provide secondary reference calibration service for those
items within an assigned area that cannot be certified by lower level
standards.
(q) Provide the personnel required for operation at this level.
(r) Comply with applicable responsibilities in meeting internal
calibration requirements.
(s) Insure that frequency traceability is in accordance with TB
750-115.
(4) Secondary Transfer Calibration Teams (Area TMDE Support Teams).
This is the level at which the mission of calibrating TMDE in the field is
performed. Everything prior to this is support for this effort. This is
where the field units have their main contact with the calibration chain.
(a) Insure that calibration standards are maintained in an
operational condition with accuracies traceable to the secondary reference
standards.
(b) Insure that frequency traceability is in accordance with TB
750-115.
(c) Assure cross-check procedures are used to confirm that
calibration team standards remain within their tolerances.
If it is
determined that a specific calibration team standard did not retain its
accuracy, all TMDE calibrated using the defective standard since the last
taken to revalidate the TMDE calibrated by the defective standard.
(d) Comply
with
the
time
requirements
as
established by
their
itinerary.
(e) Provide authorized calibration and repair service to customer
units.
(f) Comply with the provision of TM 38-750 pertinent to the forms
for the calibration program.
