(b) Do not elevate gate to closed position when doors are open.
(c) Do not overload the gate.
(d) Distribute load evenly on gate.
(e) Do not carry load on gate while in transit.
(f) Never move the vehicle with the PTO engaged.
5.
VAN BODY OPERATION.
This section contains instructions covering the
mechanical steps necessary to set up the expansible van body and its
a. Leveling van body.
(1) Remove the leveling Jacks, jack plates, and Jack spikes, from the
storage box at the rear of the vehicle. Also, remove the ground spike from
the box (figure 1).
(2) Attach Jack plates to lower feet of Jacks (figure 9). Assemble
inner and outer tubes of Jacks and adjust the jack length with chained pin
to approximate height of Jack pockets at the four corners of the van body.
(3) Insert upper feet of Jacks in the four jack pockets so that all
Jacks are vertically suspended.
Install jack handles and operate jacks
until all Jack plates are in contact with the ground. Be sure all Jacks are
vertical, then anchor each Jack plate with two jack spikes.
(4) Operate each jack as required until the van floor is level.
Do
not attempt to Jack entire van clear of ground with leveling jacks.
