NOTE:
An interlock serves as an ON/OFF switch.
Because of its
design, the interlock provides additional functions.
First,
it removes the power from the unit when the operator opens the
panel or drawer.
This provides safety for the operator.
Secondly, when testing is required by the repair person, it
restores power to the unit when placed in its forward
position.
QUESTION:
When the INTERLOCK switch is pulled forward is restored to
the set.
e. Observe the 10 kV power supply meter. The center mark is labeled 10
kV on the meter. When the meter needle points to the 10 kV mark, the output
of the power supply PP-607/GPN is 1-KV. If the meter needle points above or
below the 10 kV mark, the power supply requires readjusting (Figure 27).
