(5) When a TMDE is evacuated by a DS unit to a GS unit, the DS unit
enters the "Date Submitted" to the GS unit on section 2 of the DA Form 2402.
The DS unit retains section 3 as a receipt. The reverse side of section 3
must be dated and signed in blocks 33 and 34 by the individual at the
supporting GS unit who is authorized to receive the TMDE.
(6) When calibration or repair service is completed, the servicing
activity completes DA Form 2402, block 7 by entering the date work is
completed and the technician's initials in the blocks provided.
When the
TMDE is returned to the owner/user, it is exchanged for the receipt section
4 of the DA Form 2402. The receipt sections may be destroyed or retained as
a record of the return of the TMDE. If receipt sections are retained, they
will be retained no longer than 1 year.
(7) DA Forms 2416, DA Labels 80, 163, and DA Form 2417 will be
completed and used as outlined in TB 750-25-1.
A DA Form 2416 will be
completed for each TMDE-SP received for calibration or repair.
A DA Form
2417 will be completed for each unserviceable TMDE-SP that is not repaired
and is evacuated to GS, or is awaiting repair parts, etc. A DA Label 80 or
163 will be completed and affixed to each TMDE-SP calibrated.
(8) Replacement parts, modules, etc., in the DS/GS unit's maintenance
shop stock will be made available for use by ATST's to repair unserviceable
TMDE.

following applies:
(1) The procedures outlined in e(1), and f(2) through f(7) above will
apply.
Where f above is oriented to TMDE-SP.
ATST's will interpret the
43-180-1 as requiring ATST calibration. Wherever DS is stated, it will be
interpreted to mean ATST and GS to mean Base TMDE Support. That paragraph
will also be interpreted to mean ATST repair support for measurement
standards listed in TB 43-180-1 as requiring ATST calibration.
(2) When a replacement part required to repair a TMDE is not
available in the ATST's maintenance shop stock, parts available from the
owner/user or DS/GS/AVIM unit maintenance shop stock should be used.
All
parts obtained from the owner/user or DS/GS/AVIM unit will be reported to
the ACRC supply operation.
(3) When repair of a TMDE is beyond the capability of the ATST, it
will be evacuated to the ACRC Base TMDE Support for repair, calibration, and
returned to the user/owner. Notification of the
